Our organization offers a range of STEM kits and workshops, fostering curiosity and championing STEM education.

Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Director of Community Partnerships to join our Board of Directors. This volunteer role is crucial in building relationships and collaborations with schools, local businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations to advance our STEM nonprofit’s mission of promoting STEM education for K-12 students.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with schools, community organizations, and local businesses to integrate STEM programs and initiatives.
• Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to expand the reach and impact of our programs.
• Represent the organization in community events, workshops, and discussions to promote our mission and establish meaningful connections.
• Collaborate with other board members and the team to explore joint opportunities for workshops, sponsorships, or product integration.
• Act as an advocate for our STEM programs and ensure alignment with community needs.

Qualifications:

• Passion for STEM education and a commitment to our nonprofit’s mission.
• Strong communication and networking skills to foster relationships with diverse groups.
• Experience in community engagement, partnerships, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Ability to think strategically and identify mutually beneficial opportunities.
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to dedicate time and effort to the role.

Time Commitment: 

 Approximately 4-6 hours per month, with flexibility depending on ongoing projects and events.

Participation in board meetings (remote) and occasional community events.

Work Authorization:

Ability to work in the US without Visa sponsorship.
