Description:

  We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Online Arduino Instructor to join our team. This volunteer role involves providing guidance and instruction on hands-on Arduino projects through virtual meetings, helping students gain practical skills and a deeper understanding of electronics and programming. 

Responsibilities:  

• Instruction and Guidance: Conduct online classes and workshops to teach students about Arduino and guide them through hands-on projects, ensuring they understand the concepts and can apply their knowledge effectively. Detailed curriculum and instructions will be provided.
• Virtual Meetings: Host and manage virtual meetings and classes, using appropriate online platforms and tools to facilitate interactive and engaging learning experiences.
• Project Support: Provide individual and group support to students as they work on their Arduino projects, helping them troubleshoot issues, answer questions, and encourage problem-solving.
• Feedback and Assessment: Evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and suggest improvements to enhance their learning experience and project outcomes.
• Community Engagement: Foster a supportive and collaborative online learning community, encouraging students to share their projects, ideas, and experiences with peers.

Qualifications: 

• Proficiency in Arduino programming and electronics, with hands-on experience in developing and troubleshooting Arduino projects.
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience, particularly in a virtual or online setting, is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
• Familiarity with online teaching tools and platforms, such as Microsoft Teams.
• Creative and patient approach to instruction, with a passion for inspiring and mentoring students.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to plan and conduct virtual classes effectively.
• High-speed internet connectivity to ensure smooth and uninterrupted virtual instruction. 
• Commitment to our mission of promoting STEM education and making learning accessible and enjoyable for all students.

Time Commitment:

No more than 4-5 hours a month.

Compensation:

 This is a volunteer role. 

Work Authorization:

Ability to work in the US without Visa sponsorship.
