Position Title: QA Analyst

Location: Remote

Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Analyst to work with us on an as-needed basis to test mobile game, web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in manual testing, the ability to write comprehensive test cases, and the skills to develop automated testing protocols when required.

You will be responsible for identifying and documenting issues, providing clear proof of defects, collaborating with developers to ensure fixes are applied, and performing retests to validate resolutions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct manual testing of mobile games, web and mobile applications across multiple devices, platforms, and browsers.
• Develop clear, step-by-step test cases to ensure consistent and repeatable testing processes.
• Create and maintain automated testing scripts and protocols to improve testing efficiency where applicable.
• Log bugs and issues in the designated tracking system with detailed reproduction steps, screenshots, videos, and other proof as needed.
• Collaborate with the development team to clarify requirements and support root cause analysis.
• Retest issues after resolution to confirm they are fully fixed.
• Provide clear QA reports on testing outcomes and quality status.
• Follow established QA best practices and suggest process improvements when necessary.

Qualifications: 

• Proven experience in QA testing for mobile games, mobile apps, and web applications.
• Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium).
• Experience writing comprehensive test cases and test plans.
• Proficiency in bug tracking tools such as Trello or Asana.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and on-demand with quick turnaround times.
• Familiarity with cross-platform testing on iOS, Android, and multiple browsers.

Compensation:

This is a part-time/on-demand contract opportunity. Current compensation does not include 401K, employee pension, health, vacation pay, sick pay, or other fringe benefits. 

Work Authorization:

Ability to work in the US without Visa sponsorship.
