Welcome to Maker Mindz. Our mission is to give students an ability to tinker with tools that promote teamwork and most importantly have fun so we can help forge learning of STEM concepts. Central to this mission is our commitment to be transparent about the data we collect about you, how it is used and with whom it is shared.

This Privacy Policy applies to our website, our mobile applications including games available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, and all other services offered by Maker Mindz in all geographies in which Maker Mindz offers its Services.

• Personal Information: Name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, and payment information (for purchases and donations).
• Mobile Device Information: We collect technical data such as your mobile device ID, IP address, operating system version, and hardware model to ensure game compatibility.
• Usage Data: We track in-game progress, achievements, and features used to improve our STEM educational content.
• Live Training Data: During live STEM training sessions at schools or outside schools, we may collect images or videos of participants for educational and promotional purposes, with appropriate consent.

During live STEM training sessions, we may collect images or videos of participants with explicit consent. We seek consent from participants or their legal guardians before using these images or videos for educational and promotional purposes.

3. Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

As an organization focused on K-12 education, we strictly adhere to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

• Under 13: We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If we learn we have collected such data without consent, we will delete it immediately.
• Parental Rights: Parents or guardians may review their child’s information, request its deletion, and refuse further collection by contacting us.

4. Third-Party Advertising and Analytics

Our mobile games may include third-party advertising.

• Ad Tracking: Third-party partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve ads. We strive to ensure all advertising within our K-12 focused games is age-appropriate and compliant with store safety standards.
• Analytics: We use third-party tools (such as Google Firebase or Unity Analytics) to monitor and analyze game performance. These partners have access to device data only to perform these tasks on our behalf.

5. Product Designs

When a customer requests a custom product design, we may use that design to create similar products for other customers with similar interests and needs. However, we do not use any personal information of the original customer in the creation of these products.

6. Donations

When you make a donation on our website, we collect your name and email address. This information is used to send you a receipt for tax purposes and to communicate with you about our organization and promotions. We do not share your personal information with third parties.
