Position Title: STEM Content Creator (YouTube Channel)

Description:

 We are seeking passionate STEM undergraduate students to create and record online video lessons for our YouTube channel. These lessons will align with the U.S. K-12 curriculum and focus on bringing real-world STEM concepts to life through engaging demonstrations and experiments.

We are looking for students who specialize in one or more of the following areas:

• Physics
• Chemistry
• Math
• Earth Science
• Robotics
• Artificial Intelligence (AI)
• Engineering
• CAD
• Programming
• Other STEM degrees

Each student will design and record hands-on, easy-to-understand lessons that will help next generation of students connect classroom concepts to everyday life.

Responsibilities:

• Develop lesson plans and demonstrations aligned with K–12 STEM curriculum standards.
• Record engaging YouTube-friendly educational videos with experiments &/or simulations. Delivery will include 1 video per week. This is a total of 40-hour internship spread over 12 weeks. Video length ~ 10 minutes.
• Explain complex topics in a simple, fun, and interactive way suitable for middle and high school students.
• Collaborate with the Maker Mindz team to ensure consistency in style, format, and educational value.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in the United States
• Background in STEM fields such as Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Math, Computer Science or other relevant STEM degrees.
• Prior experience teaching, tutoring, or creating educational content (preferred).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially on camera.
• Access to clear audio, and good video recording setup.
• A creative mindset and passion for hands-on, project-based teaching.

Compensation:

This is a part-time/project-based contract opportunity: 40 hours total (spread over 12 weeks). You will be paid $13/hour. Current compensation does not include 401K, employee pension, health, vacation pay, sick pay, or other fringe benefits.
