Uncovering Physics with Everyday Objects (online)
Explore the wonders of physics in our engaging online class, where students learn fundamental concepts using everyday objects found around the house. From rolling marbles down ramps to creating makeshift catapults, this hands-on approach makes complex topics like force, energy, and motion accessible and fun. Through interactive experiments and creative challenges, students will see physics in action and gain a deeper understanding of the world around them - all from the comfort of their own home.
Designed for 6 - 8th graders
4-week agenda:
Lesson 1: Introduction to Force, Friction, Center of Mass
Lesson 2: Introduction to Inertia and Laws of Motion
Lesson 3: Introduction to Potential and Kinetic Energies, Ramp and Components of Force
Lesson 4: Introduction to Buoyancy and Pressure

Uncovering Sound & Light with Everyday Objects (online)
Join our interactive online workshop on Sound and Light! In this hands-on class, we'll explore the fundamental properties of sound and light, such as frequency, pitch, reflection, refraction and more through fun, engaging experiments using everyday items found around the house. Perfect for curious minds eager to dive into the science behind the world we see and hear!
Designed for 6 - 8th graders

Lesson 1: Sound: wave properties, amplitude, frequency, pitch & more
Lesson 2: Speed of sound, Doppler effect, wave interference & more
Lesson 3: Light: electromagnetic radiation, explore reflection, refraction, wavelength, color, energy & more
Lesson 4: Light: speed of light, diffraction, convex & concave mirror, light filters & more
