Position Title: STEM Educator

Description:

We are seeking passionate STEM Educators to join our team. This is a remote, flexible role where educators can contribute in multiple ways based on their skills and interests:

• Teach online STEM classes in your area of expertise.
• Develop curriculum and lesson plans for self-paced or instructor-led courses.
• Create educational videos that simplify STEM concepts for middle and high school students.

This position is ideal for professionals looking for meaningful project work, or retired educators/professionals who want to inspire the next generation.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging online STEM classes (live or recorded).
• Develop structured curriculum with activities, quizzes, and projects aligned to learning goals.
• Collaborate with our team to design innovative STEM programs that align with Maker Mindz’s mission.
• Create educational content to simplify STEM concepts.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in one or more STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering, math, coding, robotics, AI, physics, etc.).
• Experience in curriculum development or teaching is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Comfort with remote teaching and content creation.
• Creative mindset with a passion for making STEM engaging and accessible.

Compensation:

This is a part-time/on-demand contract opportunity. Current compensation does not include 401K, employee pension, health, vacation pay, sick pay, or other fringe benefits. 

Work Authorization:

Ability to work in the US without Visa sponsorship.
